PORTS AND FITTINGS

The fuel rail features four (4) threaded ports that are tapped for 8AN ORB.

Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application and type of hose to be used. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. To verify clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a reference guide.

For any ports that are not going to be used, simply install an 8AN ORB plug (available on the 8AN ORB adapter page).

OVERVIEW
Manufactured with a large 0.69" internal bore, the fuel rail can support all necessary engine power requirements. The rail is CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum, anodized and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. It is compatible with all fuel types including popular alcohol mixtures such as E85.
The Radium fuel rail eliminates the OEM 2-bolt inlet flange which uses a restrictive 0.22" (5.7mm) orifice. All four ports use -8AN ORB threads.

The fuel rail reuses the 3 OEM mounting spacers (Mitsubishi MD095402) to thermally insulate the fuel rail from the intake manifold. Furthermore, thermal insulating washers are provided for the stainless steel mounting hardware. Mounting bosses mimic the factory fuel rail for securing the cable(s) that pass by with the OEM brackets.

FUEL INJECTOR COMPATIBILITY
This fuel rail is compatible with factory or OEM equivalent fuel injectors. If upgrading fuel injectors, consult your aftermarket injector supplier for details. Radium Engineering cannot specify any further injector dimensions other than stating ‘OEM equivalent’.
